Saturday was absolutely beautiful weather.. mid 70's all day, dry, clear and not a cloud in the sky. What better idea is there than to take the kids to their all time favorite October place to have a good time ....than Dewberry Farms? None other for my 3 and 5 year old. We headed out about 4 o'clock, just in time to enjoy the evening part of the day. The kids rode ponies, climbed huge and slid down huge dirt hills, went down giant PVC roller slides, swung on rope swings to land in giant hay piles, climbed enormous homemade forts and zipped across on zip lines. We ended it with a hay ride pulled by a tractor out past the colossal corn maze and pumpkin patches to the woods beyond a creek for a spooky and interesting lighted pumpkin stroll with more than 600 carved pumpkins of every kind of design or character a person can imagine.

Kelsey took this picture.

Practicing their roping skills

At the end of it all, no one wanted to go home, but Carter did ask if he could go to the car for a nap, and come back when he woke up. Kelsey's favorite thing was the zip line and Carter's was the giant roller slide and riding ponies. Todd and My favorite parts were seeing all their smiles and hearing all their laughter. Pretty darn good day.
Looks like a great day!! We went there a few weeks ago and Rian loved it!!
