Halloween in the 'hood

Halloween weekend was super fun this year. I was very ready to participate in Halloween activities after being in bed for the week prior with the flu. I took the kiddos to another pumpkin patch with their friends, Tate and Kip, from across the street. Since it was the night before Halloween, most pumpkins were gone, but the kids loved all the props. Kelsey squealed when she saw the Wizard of Oz set.

On Halloween, Kelsey dressed up as a Fifties girl in a poodle skirt and Carter had picked out another Pirate ensemble. However, he chose not to wear it and went as a marathon runner instead. He wore his Cypress Run for the Cure shirt.

We did carve pumpkins, and Kelsey decided that since the flu had stayed too long at our house in the weeks prior to all this, hers would be in honor of it finally being gone!
