Let's Play Catch Up!

I know this sounds redundant, but we have been very busy. If your reading this, it's because I finally found my laptop in all our moving boxes.

In the last few weeks, the big happenings of the Malousek household are the end of School, celebrate Summer parties with friends, Kelsey's recital in which she performed very well and is very excited about continuing next year and adding Jazz.

She got picked by her Croc buddy, Shannon, to be taken under her wing at the swim meets. It is kinda of morale booster for the younger swimmer to have an older one cheer fro them. Lots of fun! Kelsey did beautiful this year on her freestyle and backstroke and finished the season progressing to breast and butterfly. Her favorite part was always finishing with a shorter time for each heat and being rewarded with speeding tickets to turn in for treats. Being born in February, she is true to her horoscope, an Aquarius, in the water.

I spent several days hiking with Carter, as he loves to lead and go the "back trails". He really likes to explore and look closely at the bugs and creatures.

During all of these happenings, we put our house on the market, sold it and moved into a larger house on a much quieter street that offers a culdesac across from us, trails at the end of the street and waterfall park across the street. Plus, it's so close to the school, Kelsey gets to finally ride her bike this Fall to school. Which means Carter and I get to ride too! we are looking forward to it!

This week, we are off to San Antonio for July 4th fireworks hill country style. We plan to visit Sea World and hike Natural Bridge Caverns, in between hanging out at on a lazy river at the Hyatt. Hopefully we can fit in some Margaritas and fajitas along the San Antonio riverwalk.
