As summer winds down and school begins, the mercury seems to be going to wrong direction these days with most days hitting the 100 mark or near it and heat indexes way over. This is when I get jealous of people who actually live where going back to school means leaves turn amber and orange as the air gets cooler. Ughh! It just makes it difficult to get into football down South. It seems like a cruel joke with all the stores already stocking winter clothes and Halloween decorations to sale. No matter how hot and sticky, school still starts and schedules get crazy. We had no big plans for the August, but we did manage to squeeze in a few fun times.
